The Dutch Design Week is an annual event dedicated to Dutch design. It is hosted in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. It is organized in the second week of October every year. It is usually a one-week exhibition with several venues. Among the many venues the most popular one is the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Technical University of Eindhoven. The hosting companies are Philips, Philips Design, and DAF. Eindhoven is aspiring to become the national industry and design capitol. The Dutch Design Week, called DDW, is organized to communicate the phenomenal progress Eindhoven and its companies have achieved. It is an organization called Design Platform Eindhoven (DPE) that is at the head of the organizational efforts.Recommended content
